The hitchin Post is your home away from home. The food is always fresh and always homemade.

Come join Rae-Ellyn and her family at the Hitchin Post.

When you enter the warm, rustic dinning room you are transported back to a time when food was made with love and care.

We don’t use any products that contain MSG.

We believe in taking out time and making a real meal like grandma used to make.

We hand-cut our steaks. We use fresh ground Black Angus for our juicy burgers.

Our mashed potatoes and gravy are made from scratch daily.

Rae-Ellyn and her family bring you delicious comfort food, the way food should be.

Always fresh, Always homemade.

You can't miss our faux wild west front with its ample parking. We are located on Hwy 380 as you head towards Lincoln we are the last building on your left.

Our large rustic open dining room can accomadate up to 65 hungry people.

The high ceilings and rustic rough wood work will transport you back in time to the days of Billy of the Kid.

We have the only dance floor in town which makes us a great place to host your special events. It is also a great venue for local musicians to set up and entertain you while you eat.
